Brothers Nevio and Fabiano Mattiazzi founded a wood workshop in 1979, specialising in the creation of top-quality wooden chairs. Mattiazzi is now celebrated as a premium brand due to its uncompromising design and high-quality processing.

With solid craftsmanship and ‘Made in Italy’ as its bedrock, Mattiazzi’s reputation grew, and in 2008 launched its own branded collection ‘He Said / She Said’.

The company works with some of the world’s foremost designers, including Jasper Morrison, Konstantin Grcic, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, and Sam Hecht (of Industrial Facility).

At Mattiazzi, there is a hybrid approach to manufacturing, where craftsmanship and technology work together in unison. Expert craftsmen operate state-of-the-art machinery, and wood acquires the complex shapes typically associated with injection-molded plastic.
