Eyoi Yoi Standard Floor Lamp
by Marc Pascal.
The Eyoi Yoi Standard Floor Lamp takes inspiration from butterflies and falling leaves; the special moment when autumn leaves fill the sky with tumbling leaves wafting to the ground. The central ring supports the many stainless steel wires that hold the different sized butterfly shapes poised and arranged in an ethereal cloud form.
The base is hand cast in the studio resembling a droplet of water folding back on itself, a felt bottom, and stainless steel stem with inline cord switch.
The Eyoi Yoi Standard Floor Lamp is made to order in any colour combination you desire, or minimal white. Each light created is a collaboration between Marc Pascal studio and our client. Marc’s approach to colour is ‘less is more’, therefore, as a rule of thumb each light is approximately 33% in any colours you desire, with the balance of white allowing the colour to breathe. Colours are arranged in small communities of hues that play off \each other.
A library of colours in myriad of hues house the butterfly shapes. The poly-carbonate is available in three finishes: opal, frost, and transparent gloss. The butterfly can also be created when the colours merge together.
This concept was originally designed in 2006.

80 cm (diameter) x 180 cm (height)
