Floor Stock Sale – Serra Coffee Table with Kingston Pin Oak

The timber for this top is particularly unique. It’s from an old Pin Oak tree that had been growing at Manuka Pool since the 1940s. The tree was felled in the late 2000s and Furnished Forever sourced the timber to produce this unique piece. Many Canberrans would have had ice cream under the shade of this tree!
‘Serra’ is a bold, durable coffee table that introduces a new element to the Furnished Forever aesthetic. The product is comprised of a generous timber top and steel plate under-frame that creates an engaging arrangement of space and material.
The form of the rolled steel is reminiscent of the American Minimalist sculptor Richard Serra, from whom the product receives its name.
