Enfold Sideboard

Enfold Sideboard came from the many factory visits that I do as a designer, prompting me to explore the aesthetic appeal of industrial objects. I wanted to translate this element into modern storage together with an appreciation of the Scandinavian design tradition.

The Enfold Sideboard combines the warm touch of oak, referencing the wooden sideboards of the 20th century, with the contemporary expression of its ridged steel front, softening up the cold material and binding it together with the sideboard’s oak components. The design is a new perspective on the traditional sideboard with an elegant and simple look, complemented by a unique duality of materials.

The Enfold Sideboard combines industrial materiality with residential references for a new perspective on modern storage. Made from a lacquered steel that gently enfolds its top and bottom in solid oak, the Enfold Sideboard fuses cold and warm materials for a unique expression, paired with the vibrantly modern expression of its ridged steel doors.

Dimensions

The Enfold Sideboard is available in three sizes:

• Tall two door: 99.5 cm (length) x 45 cm (width) x 84.5 cm (height)

• Low two door: 124.4 cm (length) x 45 cm (width) x 62.5 cm (height)

• Three door: 148 cm (length) x 45 cm (width) x 84.5 cm (height).
